Paneer = 200 grams
Green peas = 1½ cups
Onion = 2 medium sized, chopped
Tomatoes = four medium sized slices
Ginger = 1 inch piece
Garlic = 10 buds
Green chili = 4
Red chili powder = 1 tsp
Gram flour = 1 tsp
Coriander powder = two teaspoons
Turmeric powder = half a teaspoon
Salt = as per taste
Cumin powder = 1 tsp
Cumin = one teaspoon
Garam masala powder = half a teaspoon
Green coriander = a little finely chopped
Oil = as per need
Method - how to make Matar Paneer
Put one spoon of oil in the pan, when the oil kept on the gas becomes hot, add chopped onion, ginger and garlic to it and roast it on a low flame for three minutes. When it fry a little, then add tomatoes and half a teaspoon salt in it and stir.
Stir the tomatoes till they become soft so that the bottom does not stick to the bottom. To melt the tomato quickly, add a little water and cook it covered for 5 minutes so that the tomato cooks quickly. Open after 5 minutes, our tomatoes and onions have softened well, turn off the gas and allow them to cool slightly.
When the tomato onion gravy cools down, grind it into a jar of grinder. Now let's start making pea cheese. Heat a pan with two tablespoons of oil in a pan placed on the gas. When the oil is hot, add cumin, gram flour and red chili powder and roast it while stirring. Adding red chilli oil gives a very good color.
Fry it a little and put tomato, onion paste in it. Also add turmeric powder and fry it on medium to low flame till the oil separates well. Cover the pan so that the spatter does not come over you.
Keep stirring for a while so that the masala does not get fried, add coriander powder and cumin powder and cook while stirring.
After three minutes add the peas and mix while stirring so that the peas also cook with the spices. Cover the pan with lid and while stirring, the spices have started leaving oil.
Now fry it for two more minutes while running, when the oil comes over the spices, then add garam masala powder and mix it while stirring. Now put a little water in it so that the peas melt well and also add the paneer Matar paneer banana Now cook it on a low flame for ten minutes. So that the peas also melt and the consistency of the gravy is also corrected

When the gravy thickens, add finely chopped coriander and chopped ginger and stir. When the oil comes over the gravy, turn off the gas and take out the vegetables in a serving bowl. Serve with roti, poori naan and paratha.
